Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
This policy explains how Cube handles personal information. Cube is operated by Emmanuel Desanker, trading as Hikkō Studios, based in the Philippines. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles because our customers are mostly Australian businesses, and we also respect the rights given by the Philippine Data Privacy Act, the New Zealand Privacy Act and, where they apply, the GDPR. Contact: hello@hikkostudios.com.
Two roles
- Your account information: for information about you as our customer, we decide how it is used.
- Information you put into Cube: for your quotes and your customers' details, your business is in control. We process it only to run the Service for you. Your business is responsible for telling its own customers how their information is used.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, and the company name, logo and rates you add to your quotes.
- Saved quotes: the item list, quantities and totals, and any customer details you add (such as name, contact details and moving addresses).
- Photos: photos you add are used only to draft the inventory. We do not keep them: they are never stored, and are discarded as soon as the analysis finishes.
- Credits and purchases: your credit balance and the history of packs bought and credits used.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, time of request) and usage counts, used for security, fair-use limits and to fix faults.
- Billing: we never see or store your card details. Payment is handled by our reseller and Merchant of Record (Paddle or Dodo Payments), who shares with us only what we need to add your credits, such as your name, email, country, the pack bought and payment status.
Cube uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It uses no advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- to provide, secure and support the Service;
- to send sign-in links and service emails such as receipts and changes to terms;
- to fix problems and improve Cube, including how accurately it reads photos;
- to meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the information you put into Cube for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Cloudflare: hosting, database and image analysis.
- Google Cloud: image analysis, and Google sign-in if you choose to use it.
- Resend: sending sign-in links and service emails.
- Paddle or Dodo Payments: payment processing, tax and invoicing, as Merchant of Record.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Where it is stored
Cube runs on Cloudflare's global network, and photo analysis may run in the United States, so information may be processed outside Australia, including in the United States and the Philippines. Before we share it, we take reasonable steps to make sure the people we share it with protect it to the standard of the Australian Privacy Principles.
How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Sign-in uses single-use, short-lived links, so there is no password to steal. Each account can see only its own quotes.
How long we keep it
- Photos: not kept (see above).
- Saved quotes: until you delete them or your account.
- Your account: until you ask us to delete it. We do so within 30 days of your request, except records we must keep by law (for example, purchase records for tax).
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or complain about how we have handled it, by emailing hello@hikkostudios.com. We will reply within 30 days. If your information is in Cube because a removalist business used it to quote your move, we may pass your request on to that business. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or to the regulator in your own country.
Changes
If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date above and email account holders.
